Dietetics UHBW

Service provides specialist dietetic input to haematology & oncology patients (including Chemo day units and radiotherapy patients ‘on treatment’).

Head & neck dietetic service provides support for cancer patients during and after treatment along with the Surgical H&N Dietitian.

This new service has been set up to develop outpatient services for patients who have a nutritional need as a result of their cancer or cancer treatment.

The Nutrition in Cancer clinic offers one to one appointments. The service also inputs at Next Steps health & wellbeing clinics and is planning to provide a similar service for pre-treatment and palliative patients
