Late Effects Radiotherapy Service Taunton

The Late Effects Service supports patients with long term or late effects of cancer treatment, particularly Radiotherapy related issues. It provides support for all site specific tumour groups, (although patients with breast radiation induced injuries or patients struggling with cancer related fatigue may be re-referred for support to specialist services in Bath).

The service covers a range of strategies to help manage symptoms, improve quality of life, help overcome problems or treat many long term side effects.

Referrals can be made from GPs or members of specialist cancer teams. The service accepts self-referral from patients. It is open to all adults living in Somerset who have been treated for cancer in the past (even if their treatment was not carried out at Taunton).
