SWAG Clinical Lead for Primary Care Case Finding (1 session per week until March 2026 - with potential to extend)

The Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon & Gloucestershire (SWAG) Cancer Alliance is seeking a dynamic Clinical Lead to champion early cancer diagnosis through innovative case finding approaches. This role will lead the Pancreatic Cancer Case Finding pilot and collaborate with regional partners to identify high-risk patients earlier, improving outcomes across our communities. SWAG Allied Health Professional (AHP) Clinical Lead

The SWAG Cancer Alliance is inviting expressions of interest for a part-time (0.2 WTE Band 8B) Allied Health Profession Clinical Lead to shape and lead a transformative model for cancer prehabilitation across Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon & Gloucestershire. This strategic leadership role will focus on developing a SWAG-wide delivery model for prehabilitation, rehabilitation, and physical activity advice post-cancer diagnosis. The successful applicant will collaborate with clinical leaders, ICBs, and people with lived experience, aligning with the NHS 10-Year Plan principles. The post runs until March 2026, with potential for extension.
