A confidential freephone helpline currently open Wednesday to Sunday from 7pm to 11pm providing a safe place to talk if you, or someone you know, is in distress. We can also give information about mental health support services available in your area that could help you.

Bristol Myeloma Support Group is a friendly, informal group that meets every other month in Horfield. It consists of patients, family members and friends of those with myeloma and has between 20-30 regular members.

Nordic Walking Group – Nordic walking uses specially designed poles to exercise your upper body as well as your lower body, so your walk transforms into an effective total body workout. It will strengthen your core and back, burn calories and help trim and tone. We always supply poles for free.

This charity supports people living with thyroid cancer by putting them in touch with people who have been through the same treatment and surgery via their “buddy” network. It also offers information, clinical support, local support groups and a telephone helpline.

We support under-served communities by sharing good practice and exploring ideas to help educate and empower them to access mainstream and specialist health services
